chalet

haiz...just last week i had so much fun at the chalet, for 3 days and 2 nites. we had barbeque and games...and lotsa other fun. also there was the meeting up with my friends and stuff. more of like a reunion. i always love to meet up with a bunch of grease monkeys and discuss lotsa topics. ON CARS that is...also the job offers they always have for me. coz for them to specialize in one brand of vehicle is the best. that way. u learn alot still but only on one car, or one brand of car. the latest offer was from proton in singapore, and kia motors from cycle and carriage. as a vehicle technician, both these offers stood hard and firm for me to grab whenever i liked. quite a substantiating offer it was indeed. for a vehicle technican they would offer me between 1500 to 1700 plus other benefits like medical and studies. those kinda thing...annual leave of up to 14 days..and more. the best part is 5 and a half day week. alternate weeks. woohoo...though i am still considering the offer. i am rather keen on goin into kia, for a change do a bit of korean cars for a while. hmmm....i dunt really know. i'll consider. both offer is very enticing. the most important thing that i have to say is.i learned alot abt the diff models of the cars. and it is always nice to hear a mechanic speak very gd english rather then the normal hokkien or cantonese or mandarin i hear everyday. the one word i never cud get out of my head was the term engine wapping. its been so long since i last heard that term till i myself was stunned when my fren mentioned it to me. i even had to ask him whats that mean. it was so embarrasing.the term simply means that the engine block is uneven, the part where we fixed the headers at, yeah, it mite me a lil bit concave to the centre or to the side. i felt so out of place when i hear my own frens talkin such ways. well...alls well for em. it still is for me. so long as i keep myself updated and reading lots. hopefully i wont be left behind. i still need to continue the topic on self diagnosis. still thinkin, plannin, typing it out. nt sure what to say actually and finally came out with this. lol. a short 10 min post is always a gd relaxer. recently i also just downloaded and e book on the math and sciences of automotive. from the looks of it seems a lil bit hard for me to understand. but i havent read it thru yet, just browsed thru it only, maybe looks can be deceiving. that too i will soon post. the math and science of the automotive world. till next time...see ya.
